Hi People,

Can Oracle's replication be virtually real time and still be Asynchronous?

I need a standby but with minimal loss during a disaster. Oracle's Standby mechanism would appear to have a higher risk of data loss than that of a replication mechanism due to the latency of the log transfers.

Your thoughts/ideas welcomed.
