Hi !

I am installing Oracle 8.1.5 on Solris 7 on Intel platform.
- The PC has 256 MB RAM.

During or after the installation, when I try to create a database, I get an error 'Out of memory' .

The parameters in init.ora file are set for small database. I have tried creating the database both in command line mode (server manager) as well as using Database assistant but both result in same error.

I have also tried repeating the installation process but the results are same.

Sandeep
