Not that I know of - the 8.0.X series was the first to run on 11.00 if I remember correctly.

Nope, but it's probably fair enough that the "bleeding edge" Oracle release comes out on the "bleeding edge" OS release, though remember that HP-UX 11.00 is now 2 years and 3 months old, so it's hardly brand new.

Er, I'm not sure about that one - don't know if there's a migration tool with 8.1.5 (aka 8i) for Oracle 7 data (there is in 8.0.6).
FYI, I'm currently on 8.0.5 in HP-UX 11.00 and am in the final stages of testing to move to 8.0.6 (yes, there's an 8.0.6 release available, despite the fact that hardly anyone in this newsgroup ever mentions it :-) ). Yes, I have the 11.00 CD's for 8.1.5, but a) it's too buggy and b) it's too much of a "jump" for me to risk yet. 8.1.6 might be more interesting to look at though.
