Import Failure IMP80 Full Database ( NetWare )

Hello ,

Installation : Novell NetWare 5.0 SP4

                   ORACLE 8.04 Database
                   Exportfile from ORACLE 7.1.4. with User SYS

The following failure occurs :

after succesfull import of all the tables the import tries to import the user with their trustees. After some users have been importet, the import stops. At this time Core40.nlm takes part for part all the avaiable left cache buffers. After the whole cahce buffers are used by core40.nlm only a shutdown of the server is possible ( no cache buffers left ). Even after stoping the import by pressing ESC doesn´t help, because the cache buffers are also used by core40.nlm.
A further start of the import without the trustees or only with the trustees doesn´t help.

Question : Which effect has the the import when I ignore the failure or what can I do to solve the problem ? Received on Thu Feb 10 2000 - 09:45:28 CST
