Oracle not available is a very "general" error. Tell me when did u got this error ?? when u tried connecting to the database ??

Is it showing some specific other error too along with this message ?? what changes did u make in the TNSNAMES.ORA and the LISTENER.ORA ?? i am asking this coz i dont remember i had made any kind of changes when i had installed ORACLE
