OAS 4.0.8 on SUN 2.5.1

Anyone come across a problem with OAS 4.0.8 on a SUN 2.5.1 where the OAS = creates corrupt listenerfiles such as svproject.cfg ? If anyone knows how to solve this please tell me how! I can create listeners but not start them up if I haven't been rewriting = the .cfg file.
