Please help with Storage Manager

Hi,

we have Oracle 7.3 on NT 4 and I have a question regarding storage manager: The help is not very helpful.

What I exactly did was the following:
- start storage manager

click on Tablespaces in the left pane
now in the right pane there is a table with columns name, status, size, used
for instance for index_data, size is 2000 MB, used is 500 MB
in the column "used" are blue and red bars, which are of the same width for index_data

What is the meaning of the red bars? It seems to me they are in no way related to the relation of used and total size. But what does it mean?
