Very interesting - thank you.

However, I'm finding oracle's website difficult to use (which is also how I find microsoft's, actually). I can't find y2k info for oracle 8 (I have 8i, but
am not using it, so am more interested in 8 info than 8i).

The technical bulletins seem to end a couple years ago, which seems a bit odd - they all seem to deal with Oracle 7.

Oracle 8 personal , Oracle Lite, a bunch of cartridges, and a bunch of V7 Oracles
show up, but there appears to be no Oracle 8 listing - am I just not smart enough to figure
out how to find it ?
