oracle startup

When I try to start tha database I have the next ptoblem

dbstart

SQL*Plus: Release 8.1.5.0.0 - Production on Mié Feb 2 10:02:01 2000

SQL> Connected to an idle instance.
SQL> ORA-27102: out of memory
SVR4 Error: 22: Invalid argument
SQL> Disconnected

Database "iviedb" warm started.
