Try to create a 3GB flat file at os level. You will know !

You can try this "mkfile" command at OS level to find out its max file size capacity :-). In solaris 2.6 , I am pretty sure its 2GB!!!!!. Actuly Sol 2.6 is partialy 64 bit depending upon the hardware
