Hi !

This is because Oracle starts a Server Process for every Session if you donīt use MTS. This Session needs, depending on your operations, memory. There are some Shared Librarys which are dynamicly loaded into memory as needed. The "ps" command shows to the memory usage including all shared librarys. Since there many librarys and you often donīt need them all the output of th "ps" is remarkably.
