Have you recompiled the kernel? If so, make sure that under the "Filesystems" option, the "/proc filesystem support" was compiled into the kernel. In addition, I would check the glibc package (rpm -q glibc) to make sure you have 2.1 or above... The runins.sh worked for me.

Finally, if you have 64M RAM or less, the installation process absolutely will fail. I would heed the warning to install with 128M or greater...
