Migrationto 8.0.6

Hi,

We are trying to migrate Oracle 7.3.4 to 8.0.6. The migration goes through fine when the database runs with the default characterset. However, the database which has been created with JA16SJIS characterset, does not pass through the test for migration. It simply gives this message:

"client nls_characterset does not match server nls_characterset - check that NLS_LANG environment variable is set"

Any light thrown on the above is much appreciated.
