Oracle System Sizing

Good Day to all,

Just some general help need please, i know a ton of info is needed to properly
size hardware...

I need a box to run a pretty intensive app that is capable of 500-750 users. We plan on running 8i and using OPS. Intel or Unix?

What size box should I start looking into so that it can handle this user load?

Is there any tool, like Oracle System Sizer, available for Unix boxes?
