Hi,

Try setting an environment variable named LOCAL=dblt. Then start your context server using the command
ctxsrv80 -user ctxsys/PWD_at_db1t -personality DQML

Sounds like it's not recognizing the connect string after the @.

I do recall that the connect string after the password is not recognized as the proper syntax for early version of Oracle8.
