Hi
As Verna Legapsi mentioned that there is not enough information regarding ora-1041. I am interested because I also came across with same error and couldn't find any solution. So if you find please forward me. And thank you in advance.

Though my problem was completely different than yours:

I came across with ORA-1041 from Developer 2K Forms 4.5. Where I am trying to re-connect to database from client after my previously connected link to database was disconnected (lets say for the sake some one turn off the power on HUB or some glitch on HUB or some one pulled the network cable from the client machine).
It reconnects the de-linked connection within certain time (approx 1 to 3 seconds) if the netwrok connection became online or let say network is up, but after that if I receive ORA-1041 I am kind of toast. Basically I would like the application to re-connect to database with out manual intervention after it get disconnected. If database is down it will try to connect to database until it is successful which is possible only after the db is up.

So Please if you came across with some way around please forward me some info.

Thanks in advance.
