Are you running on NT.
I have previous problem when same ethernet card of NT have configured with
two different addresses and netmask. The order of the addresses affect
Oracle connection. The client shall be in the same LAN segment of the first
address. Otherwise, you can connect at the server via sqlplus but not from
client.
