Error ORA- 27146

hi all,

I've installed Oracle 8.1.5 on HP-UX 9000. I don't know for what reason, if I start server manager,
connect me as user internal and I try to start the database with the command STARTUP I get the
next oracle error:

ORA 27146 "post/wait initialization failed"

The resolution of Oracle manual is :
// *Cause: OS system call failed
// *Action: check errno and contact Oracle Support
