Hi all, I've installed 8.0.5 on a development host, then used NETMAN to
create on my production box a database entry for the new instance (with
the new ORACLE_HOME path, etc.). Validated, regen'd, etc. Within a few
hours, connection requests to all instances began raising 12154 errors.
I removed the 8.0.5 entry, bounced the names daemon, and things seemed
to settle back to normal.
Question: was this just a coincidence, or has anyone seem similar
behavior? TIA.
