Hi Sajnish,

I had a similar Problem installing 8.0.4 on HP-UX. The solution of ORACLE-Support was:

• go to directory $ORACLE_HOME/bin
• start ./gennaflg NONE
• move $ORACLE_HOME/bin/na*flgs to directory $LD_LIBRARY_PATH (should be $ORACLE_HOME/lib)
• go to directory $LD_LIBRARY_PATH
• start $ORACLE_HOME/bin/genclntsh

May be this works even with 8i.
