temp table problem with global temp option

We are using oracle 8i (8.1.5) and have started using the global
option with temp tables so they do not generate transaction logs.
Recently, we are noticing strange crashes that return oracle internal
errors.  They seem to occur on deleting rows from these temp tables. 



Has anyone else seen any of that kind of behavior with the new temp
table feature?
