Hi,

We would like to migrate from oracle 7.3.4 to oracle 8. That does not seem to be a trivial task because of the nature of the products involved.

Right now we use the following products:

All on solaris.

Last time I checked about oracle 8, there were two "kinds" of oracle 8:

I know that oracle 8 now integrates a lot of things (Like context, web server, etc)

Does the 2 versions still exist ? What would be best for us ? Is the migration path from 7.3.4 difficult ? Should I do a full export and then reimport or am I better by upgrading my database ?

Thanks
