PRO*COBOL and COMP-5 : HELP HELP

When we try to precompile COBOL code containing COMP-5 embedded SQL declarations, we get the following error message:

PLS-422: no PL/SQL translation for the bindtype given for this bind variable

although we have put "comp5=true" in both global and local PRO*COB configuration file.
We use ORACLE 7.2.3 on a HPUX 10.01 with mfCobol 3.2.31. We tried to reinstall PRO*COBOL today from ORACLE 7.2.3 CD-ROM without success.

Any help will be appreciated. Critical for our production system.
