thing is that the replication is to be done usingf stored procedures.
but frankly i have no idea about what replication manager is.
and how to enable the replication option.
we are using oracle 8 servers on windows nt platform.
and at both the servers the sid is the same -orcl.
and when we tried to connect from on database to another
we couldn't do so.
