OAS and CORBA/EJB

Hi,

Does anyone know when to use CORBA/EJB in an OAS 4.0.8 environment? We are planning to use OAS 4.0.8 with the JServlet cartridge and a Oracle DBMS. Is it possible to run this configuration without CORBA/EJB? I've read that the OAS can handle sessions with the Oracle.OAS.servlet.http.HttpSession package.

Does the JWeb cartridge handle sessions in a simmular way, ie. is it ness. to use JCORBA etc.?
