How to get Top N records per client?

I have this situation where I wanted to get the Top 5 sales,based on the quatity, of a client. I supposed there is really no function or command to do this quickly in SQL.

Anybody might know a methodology in SQL on how to do this. If it's possible I wanted the result to be returned as one record.

Your help would greatly be appreciated.
