After upgrading from Oracle 7.3.2 to Oracle 7.3.4 I have started to
experience the following problem. On average once a day my partner
application running on the database gives the following error.



ORA-12547, 00000, "TNS:lost contact"



My application does not use the listener to connect to the database.
