Memory Channel, Power Failure and Oracle Parallel Server

Hello



we are using oracle parallel server 8.0.4 on two Digital alphaserver
1200 with memory channel and a raid and Digital/Compaq UNIX 4.0D.



If one (the first started) memory channel server fails due to a power
failure, the other one stops also (with a blue screen and a crash dump).
Is it the normal that both servers fail if one has a power failure ?



Has anybody made similar experiences with the memory channel and its 
behaviour on power failure ?
