TRANSACTION_AUDITING init parameter

Does anybody use the following feature in Oracle8:

According to the Oracle8.x Server Reference there is TRANSACTION_AUDITING init parameter
(TRUE by default) that controls the generating of a "special redo information from the
transaction layer". However I couldn't find any information about that record's
representation (in a database or at O/S level) and how that record can be maintained and
used for a database auditing or redo purposes?

Thanks,
Eugene. Received on Thu Dec 09 1999 - 10:48:04 CST
