Hi,
we've just installed oracle 7.3.4. on Open server 5.0.5 and set up Developer 2000.
During the first pass through we received an error on installing Oracle server 7.3.4 but on re-try it seemed to install OK. However we get an error as follows:

ORA-00900: invalid SQL statement

Error accessing package DBMS_APPLICATION_INFO youmay need to install the Oracle Procedural Option SET APPINFO requires Oracle server release 7.2 or later

The system also does not seem to be responsive - import of a 14Mb .dmp file claims to be being processed but at last count had run for 3.5 hours now!!

Is this normal behaviour and are there any routine tests we can do to test system operation??

Any help gratefully received!
