Which ver. of Oracle 7 you are talking about? Basically if you haven't used funny and complex operations with ROWID in your PL/SQL code, you should not experience much problem. You need a default database on your Oracle 8 server and then do a FULL Export/Import of the Oracle 7 database. The complexity of the task depends to the Oracle 7 database you have.
It should be someone with at least knowing about Oracle fundaments. Reza
