Sorry if this is a FAQ, but I have not seen it discussed recently. I'm totally new to Oracle.

How is Oracle i8i priced? I'm confused by what I see on their web site.

I go to their "Buy It" page:
http://store.oracle.com/cec/cstage?ecaction=ecesectlink&ecSectId=1023 and calculate the following for what they call a "minimum" install on a dual Intel 400MHz machine:

	Licensing Unit Qty Price	Ext. Price?
	--------------			---	--------	-----------
	Power Unit			800	$ 200.00	$160,000.00
	Minimum Concurrent Devices	 16	$1495.00	$ 23,920.00
	Minimum Named Users		  8	$ 600.00	$  4,800.00
								===========
	Total?							$188,720.00

Almost $200,000 for a "minimum" installation? This doesn't sound right. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks in advance.
