Oracle DBA Cert Exam guide is not bad, but not enough... I would add DBA handbook Backup and Rec book (all Osbourne) and Oracle Performance Tuning by O'Reilly and/or Oracle8 and UNIX Performance Tuning.. also if you know nothing about Oracle, I would start with the Complete Reference (OSbourne)
