i am attempting to installing OAS.4.0.7 on NT 4 sp 3 running IIS 4 and Oracle RDBMS 8.0.5. this machine is behind a firewall. there are two or three other machines in the network.

when i installed, i had the website shutdown. i was then able to set the www listener to port 80. after installing, i started up OAS and the http listeners, including the one at 80. when i went to start the website, i received a dialog box:

Internet Services Manager
WINSOCK Error: Address already in use

should i have installed the oas www listener on a different port? if so, which one (i assume any valid one not in use)? what are the implications of installing on a different port? will the general public get to my applications without using a port number?
