Alas, there's no way to drop selected datafiles from a tablespace. I was regretting this fact the other day when I left out the 'K' in a script to add a datafile, and I wound up with a tiny file added to a huge tablespace. Worse yet, it brought me within 1 of max db_files!

In short, you'll have to export/import.

For what it's worth, you can join dba_data_files and dba_extents via the file_id column to find out which data files are actually being used.
