Will Oracle run on Sun Solaris for Intel?

I am looking at implementing an Oracle database. We currently are running NT/SQL Server on a Compaq Proliant 8000 with Intel Pentium III Xeon 550 Processors. I would like to be able to re-use our hardware and run Oracle on this server but I don't want to run NT. My question is can Oracle run on the Sun Solaris for Intel? I see that there is a Sun SPARC Solaris platform for Oracle, but I don't know if this is the same as the Sun Solaris for Intel and the Intel platforms only lists SCO and NetWare.

Thanks.
