We have Oracle 8i on Sun Sparc Solaris 2.6 and are finding that the DBWR process (and CKPT) is chewing up the CPU time on the machine. Anyone had this problem or know how we can try to track the problem down.

Does anyone know which commands/utilities will help us track the problem down (could it be a swapping problem?).

Thanks
