Hi all,
I'm trying to invoke PL-SQL procedures via ODBC (under NT4.0). Calling a procedure in the current database works (call TEST(1)). Calling a procedure in a database via a link (call TEST_at_DB452210(1)) does produce the following error :
[Oracle][ODBC][Ora]ORA-04052: error occurred when looking up remote object
SYSADM.TEST_at_DB452210 ORA-00604: error occurred at recursive SQL level 1
ORA-02041: client database did not begin a transaction
I'm using the ODBC driver with version 8.01.54 which seems to be the newest
available at technet. Accessing an remote table (Select * From
TAB_TEST_at_DB452210)
does produce an similar error :
[Oracle][ODBC][Ora]ORA-02041: client database did not begin a transaction
Did anyone experienced similar problems. Any workarounds or patches known ?
Any help greatly appreciated,
Bye,
