Yeah, SRDF is OK...except the software is expensive...and is proprietary to EMC, so you have to have 2 EMC Symmetrix arrays!!! (Got LOTS of $$$???). An equivalent is Legato Data Replication, which also provides synchronous, asynchronous and semi-synchronous replication, it's a software solution so it has no hardware hangups, and is a fraction of the cost of SRDF. Check out www.legato.com.
