Does anyone know of any performance benchmarks available for Oracle vs. SQLServer? Or anything concrete in Oracles favor. We will be running a multitude of apps and various DB sizes, from small 5,000 row DB's up to 5,000,000. Our primary application tool is Visual Basic and the Microsoft zombies here in office are pushing SQLServer because of compatability with VB. We will be running the server on both NT and Sun servers. Any information that would help the cause will be appreciated. Received on Mon Nov 15 1999 - 14:58:58 CST
