External procedure call

I am getting the following error when I attempt to execute an external
procedure call from Oracle.  Any idea what might be the problem?



ERROR at line 1:

ORA-28576: lost RPC connection to external procedure agent
ORA-06512: at "CREATOR.OUTPUTSTRING", line 0
ORA-06512: at line 2
