Yes, can coexist different version on the same server. Try to use OFA compliant install.
each installation has own listener and tns file, but you can use one for two version, set TNS_ADMIN environment variable to preffered and configured the listener to listen the other version. You can find a fine documention for the listener and sqlnet configuration. (for example on your distribution media)
