I've got Oracle 8.1.5 installed on Linux (SuSE 6.2) and when trying to connect to the database using the Oracle 1.1.x oci driver I get the following error:

SIGSEGV received at befff7d0 in
/db01/app/oracle/product/8.1.5/lib/libocijdbc8.so. Processing terminated.

Does anyone have any ideas on what it causing this? I have classpath, ld_library_path, oracle_home and oracle base, path environment variables configured correctly for our setup.

Thanks,

Cary
