Q: How ro create a database link

Hi experts,

we have a problem with distrubuted databases/DB links:

Former Situation:

Application uses Instance "A" + read only data from instance "B". This was solved via a database link to "B".

Situation now:

Database "A" and "B" are both migrated to new instance "C". Application uses "C" (working). But since we do not want to rewrite the whole application NOT to use DB links we are trying to create a DB link on "C" called "B" pointing back to itself.

How can this be done?
