how to get record of time for yesterday in the oracle table?

Hi any one,

I has a samll question with this.
I want to get record of time for yesterday in the table of oracle8. I don't know what is performing function filterring 'Select' condition that is field of whattime is of yesterday. Can any one tell me with this ? think you .
