I have documents look like:

 ................

title
author one; author two...

abstract text.....

subject one; subject two; subject three... related sub one; related sub two; related sub three...

................

For interMedia section search I have it converted to:

................

<ti>title</ti>
<au>author one</au><au>author two...</au>
<ab>

abstract text.....
</ab>
subject one; subject two; subject three...
related sub one; related sub two; related sub three...
................

For <au> and I have them defined as ZONE. Searching for AU seems fine. For SUB, I need to treat 'subject one' and 'subject two' as independent units. In other words, 'one subject' should not return a hit.

Oracle does not allow queries with nested WITHIN.

Suggestions and ideas are greatly appreciated.
