No 2 gig barrier on tape, which was suprising. According to Oracle the problem is with the export utility itself so it should barf to tape after 2 gig's as well.

The export itself is about 8 gig's so over the 'net is not an option, even zipped. What I'm trying now is the total kludge option; export to disk, ftp to NT on network, backup files to tape, restore to disk from tape on target NT, import from disk on target NT.

Totally NOT the way it should be but running out of time and options.
