Data replication: suggestion needed

Greetings.
I'm working on a big project that requires data replication. There is a single, central site and n peripheric sites. All sites are running Oracle 7.3.4 with distributed and replication options. The same application with the same underlying database structure is installed at all sites. Changes made at the peripheric databases must propagate to the central database on demand. Changes made at the central database must not propagate to the peripheric database. I'm trying to study the "Oracle7 Server Distributed Systems Manual" but I lost myself through all the available options: basic, advanced, snaphshot sites, multi-master... Is someone out there so kind to give me some suggestion?

Thanks for your attention.
Best Wishes, Cris
