Hi



Check $ORACLE_HOME/network/admin/snmp_rw.ora file, please make sure that
the entries you have made there are OK and as per standard syntax.
May be there is some junk character at the end of line in this file.
Try to read this file using Octal Dump in character mode



od -c snmp_rw.ora and see that after the end " , there should just be a
'\n' charcter and nothing else. Also check for any blank line at the end
of the file.
