  1. No, no need to create the tables.
  2. Yes u can do it. u will need to create the services with the oradim utility (from dos type "oradim73" or "oradim80" whatever version u got) and make sure u copy all the files including the password file, init.ora, all database files. when u create the services, make sure that u point to the copied init.ora.
